Policies and Disclaimers

We reserve the right to prohibit acceptance of any dog who we feel is not a good fit for our facility or who doesn’t meet our requirements. Evaluations of every dog is mandatory for acceptance. 

We require proof of certain vaccines and their county license.

We accept intact females up to 6 months of age. Females 6 months and older must be spayed. We will not accept females in heat. We accept intact males upon evaluation. 

We will provide your dog with 24/7 supervision and security. We are open to the public for drop off and pick ups:

Mon-Friday: 7:30am-6:30pm

Sat-Sun: 9am-5pm (Daycare CLOSED)

To maintain your dogs normal diet, we ask that all guests provide their own dog food for the duration of their stay. Kibble must be in a container with a lid and a scooper. It helps to label the container with your dogs name and meal serving size (ex. RIVER 1cup twice daily). Inform us ahead of time if the food needs special preparation. Bowls are supplied at the facility, however, you are free to bring your own. You’re welcome to bring any treats your dog enjoys.

If your dog is sick or has an injury, we reserve the right to turn you away depending on the severity. However, we understand that there are many other reasons dogs may need to take medication and we’ll be happy to administer it free of charge.

Boarding: We accept reservations with a required 50% deposit. For reservations cancelled 5 or more days prior to arrival, we fully refund your deposit. If you cancel within 5 days of your reservation date, you will lose your deposit. Full payment required at check-in.

Daycare: No deposit necessary. Full Payment required at check-in.

Social media is a big part of how we advertise. Future clients like to be able to see all the fun our dogs have at Kozy K9 when making their decision. Plus, it allows YOU to stay connected to us. Videos and images of your dog may be taken during their stay for marketing purposes. By signing our contract, you agree to unrestricted use and publishing of any such files. 

We take pride in making sure all the dogs in our care receive plenty of supervised play. We also have experience in running a very successful dog training company, therefore, we know and understand dog behavior. For safety reasons, anytime the dogs are not able to be supervised, they will be put in their individual kennels. The kennel room will be monitored by cameras which the owner has access of viewing at any time. Please understand that on some occasion, the owner will need to leave the property for short durations.   

Dog owners and authorized representatives are solely responsible and liable for any and all actions of their dogs during the stay at Kozy K9 Doggie Resort including, and not limited to, injury to another dog, a staff member, or a member of the public. By contracting our services, you are confirming that you understand and agree to the terms set forth herein and, if you are not the dog’s owner, that you are authorized by the owner to admit the dog to Kozy K9 Doggie Resort and to agree to these terms. In the rare case of an emergency or health concern, we will contact you. We shall administer aid and non-prescription treatments, as needed. If veterinarian attention is deemed necessary, we shall take your dog to your veterinarian of record; or, to a 24-hour, veterinary emergency hospital if your vet is not available. With admittance, you accept responsibility for any expenses resulting from such outside treatment, as needed in the event of accidental injury, illness, or symptoms, arising during or after your dog’s stay with us. Please understand that despite Kozy K9’s commitment to the highest standard of dog care and supervision and to facility design and cleanliness, accidental injury and illness may occur. The dog owner further understands that dogs play, run and jump which can sometimes cause sprains and pulled muscles. Understand also that dogs lead with their teeth and injuries including cuts, scrapes and puncture wounds can be a result of play and not necessarily aggression. The owner agrees to be responsible for all damages and medical treatment for all injuries to the dog. The owner also understands and acknowledges that if an injury is proven to have occurred due to unprovoked aggression, the owner of the aggressive dog is responsible for the medical treatment of the injured dog.
